Save the Date! The captains meeting will take place Friday, June 6th 2025, at 5 - 6 PM with fishing starting at 6:30 PM. Entrants will be able to fish as much or as little as they want with fishing being open all hours until lines out at Sunday, June 8th at 2 PM. An awards ceremony will follow at 4 PM
This will be a length-based tournament with the option for keeping your catch (for all species except Striped Bass), or practicing catch and release, this is a great tournament for everyone!

The Captains meeting will take place Friday June 6th between 5 PM and 6 PM at Great Bay Outfitters located at 955 Radio Rd, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08087 . All participants are required to fill out tournament paperwork and have their measuring devices verified by the tournament committee and receive your tournament number. All monies must be paid prior to the start of the tournament.
Normal Entry: $100 per person
Species Calcutta (Largest fish): $10 each species
Super Calcutta (Most 1st place fish, largest of each species): $50
There are 9 (nine) qualifying species. Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Drum, Red Drum (Redfish), Black Sea Bass, Tautog (Blackfish), Fluke (Summer Flounder), Sheepshead, and Weakfish. All New Jersey Size and Bag limits must be obeyed, and any violation will result in a disqualification and forfeiture of funds. Tournament is Catch & Release or Catch and Harvest (within legal limits) with the exception of striped bass, which is Catch and Release Only.
Photograph or video with tournament number clearly visible via text to tournament committee will be accepted fish submission. In the event of a tie, the fish submitted first will be be worth more points. A minimum size of 5" will be required for any fish submission. Any disputed measurements must be brought to the committees attention by the end of the tournament. Location services must be enabled on your phone during the tournament, and any altering of photo metadata will result in a disqualification.
50% will go to 1st Place, 30% will go to 2nd place, and 20% will go to 3rd place.
100% of Calcuttas will go to the winner of the longest fish per species.
There will also be random chance drawings at the captains meeting for additional prizes!
Tournament Boundaries will be the Great Bay and surrounding estuaries area, with a map given to all entrants on where they are allowed to fish.
